dog...dogs are so much better and cats hardly do any thing...if she has a fenced back yard that is great if not its fine too..when she knows she is flying..right before she goes all she has to do is feed it and talke it for a walk.

maybe she shouldnt get a puppy becasue puppies need to pee A LOT!! and always adopt from the pound..there is nothing wrong with a mutt! and you would be saivng a life!

i think a dog would be better because they are very patient but only some dogs u have to train them just like my dog he is very patient and come now as a pilot the dog needs a lot of confident but for cat,u can't do anything for them even when u treat them nicely they still like to do other things so dogs are the best pet u can ever find!!!!!

same same.both are as efficient and as clumsy/dirty but i am a cat person therefore i say cat.
