I am really looking for a pet right now. I have no interest in a fish or anything like that that just sits there. I have been looking into a bird. If I got one it would be a big one and I know they cost a lot and are a major commitment, but I have no problem with either. I just don't know the different types. I had a friend that had a Macaw and he was so mean to everyone but one person that they couldn't let him out of his cage much, which scares me. I am allergic to cats and dogs, so I cant have either. I had a ferret and she was great, I had her for a really long time, but don't really want another one because they stink really bad, and the smell seems to linger even after they're gone. I also had a hampster, but I really want something bigger than that. Any experience would be great.
