Default How to mark pet stains to treat on carpet. Can I use sidewalk chalk?

I bought a blacklight to find urine spots on my carpet. I also have Simple Solution. I have to wait until dark to find the spots. There are a lot. I want to mark them somehow at night, so the next day I can treat the areas with Simple Solution and extract with my carpet cleaner. I don't want to wake neighbors in building with carpet cleaner at night. What can I outline these areas with, so I can see the next day, but will also come out of my carpet?

I would treat the stains as I find them. According to the Simple Solution website, it should air dry naturally so the beneficial bacteria and enzymes have time to work all the way to the backing of the carpet. You can then clean with a carpet cleaner.

Buy a cage for your animal to sleep in at night so he/she is not up sneaking around Peeing on your carpet! (Sorry having memories of my sneaking cockapoo). Black light idea is awesome! I hope the simple solution works whatever it is! You could use white tape or painters tape. Also for that extra oomph let the solution soak over night on the stains. Good luck! You are awesome and have given me so good ideas as well. Thanks
