I'm new to the military lifestyle (just married) and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about this pet policy. We're moving onto Fort Bragg soon, and I was looking at the pet policy, and it states that all cats and dogs must be microchipped. Is that under the skin or a tag on a collar? I figured under the skin but I want to make sure.
We have two housecats and we feel it's a litle ridiculous to get them microchipped under the skin. But we also would love to have a dog so we might live off base (because only two pets are allowed on base), but we'll see. How about other onbase housings? Do they have the same policies? Thanks! ![]()
