Default What Sport would you reccomend for me?

Okay: based on this info what sport would you reccomend for me to play:
-I'm in the 13-15 age range
-I can't run too much because I have asthma (running bases is fine, but basketball is too much)
-I'm a girl
-I don't have great hand-eye cooridination

Yeah, I was going to recommend swimming too...when you are in the pool, the moisture in the air should be good for your lungs. The only thing I wonder about though is if you were in a highly chlorinated pool with little ventilation, say in an indoor pool. Because then I'm not sure, the chemicals might not be so good for you.

But yeah, swimming is a great full body workout and you can take it at your own pace.

Try yoga, it's very popular among women. You can even try this one type of yoga where you are in a heated room. It's set up that way so that you sweat out the toxins from your body, and that goes with the humidity that's been talked about here.

Why don't you do something that is within the home, or in your backyard. Something like stationary bike or exercising videos. That way you can build up your strength and then work your way toward team sports. Team sports can just be more drastic, because you have less control over the intensity, or when you can stop and take breaks.

All of these are good suggestions. Along with the treadmill suggestion, I would say walking is good too. It doesn't sound like exercising, but if you walk a mile a day, it adds up. And it's relaxed and you get to visit new places if you choose to walk different paths.

Swimming and yoga are good options because they don't require much hand-eye coordination. Walking on a treadmill is also good exercise, but I wouldn't consider it a sport, more like an exercise that you do while at the gym.
