I am currently working on a BS in Business Administeration, and within that, I'm torn between the two emphases Marketing and Management.
Since it's only an emphasis and not the degree itself, I guess it wouldn't matter too much either way? I see myself eventually running my own business, but want to be able to get a job after college until I'm able to do that. Or, if I get a good job and am able to work my way up, I may not mind being a manager either. To me, marketing seems like more of a specific skill, which is why I think it appeals to me. Management is what I would like to end up doing in the future, but isn't Business Admin and Management sort of the same thing? I guess Management would be more in-depth. Would marketing be like an additional set of skills, maybe? Can someone who is knowledgable with Business help? I guess all I'm asking is what kind of jobs I'd be able to get with each (if different), and your suggestion. Thanks!
