Default Joomla or Drupal?

Hello,

I would like to ask you all about the CMS, Joomal and Drupal. I am pllaning to create a community

site, it is not only the community but I also would like to add many more fatures to it. But I

wish to complete this soon, so I prefer to use any CMS.

I searched on net and find that by using Joomla it is possible to create Community Based site.

what about Drupal ? I am a beginner to these CMS but have good experience on PHP Development.

Which is better on your opinion Jommla or Drupal?
Which one offer variety of Modules or components ?
Which one is easy to install and configure?

I wish to use this CMS to create a community site, a froum, blog shopping cart and also want to add my site features to it.

Which is better in all the ways, if I need to expand in future.

Regards,
PHP Developer.

Well, I've not used either of these programs, but I do know people who use Joomla and they are very happy with it. I also know someone who's company uses it for various purposes. Sorry I don't have any direct feedback on this, if I learn anything more I will let you know.

I'm wondering about this too. I'd like to hear what members have to say about which one is easy to use, and why specifically. I've seen Joomla in action, but I know Drupal is very popular too. Does anyone know, based on an honest ranking source, which one is more popular?

For those of you who like Joomla, what are the reasons you find it to be a better CMS than Drupal? Have you honestly tried both of them? I'd appreciate any feedback, since I know very little about this subject and am starting to learn about CMS.
