Default css stylesheet with one brace area styling multiple tags at once?(no classes

or id's)? how do i define multile html elements in css to definew a style for them in one braced area?

Just separate them with a comma

p, strong, em { color:#000000; }

If I understand your question correctly, you can combine selectors by separating them with commas before what you're calling a "braced area", the term for which is a CSS "rule". As an example:

p, span.someclass, em#someID, strong {

font-family: Arial;

}
