Default How can I find out if my motherboard can support dual core?

I think I have an intel desktop motherboard D101GGC. It came with an emachines w3502 desktop computer. Does this motherboard support dual core processors? Is LGA775 and 800 or 533mgz FSB all I need to know to see if the motherboard supports the processor? I'm not good with computers so I don't know what these terms mean.

You can look at processor port. If motherboard have two port processor, it mean your motherboard can apply dual core.

Nope, the fastest CPU you can get on that is a Pentium D 9xx series.
