Default Asus
I have a weird problem with my gene...for months it has been running smoothly but a week ago I could not power it back on anymore...I have to press the switch for a good 3 seconds for it to start (it starts right when I press it but if I release it before 3 seconds it shuts down instantly). I runs perfectly fine afterwards..

I have never come across a weird problem like this before so I thought I would ask if any of you guys ever saw something like this.

BTW I swaped every component on the board for a different one and the problem persists. It behaves the same for both switches too (the on board one and the case mounted one).
