I need to add some more RAM to my ASUS P5K-Deluxe motherboard. It currently has 4 x 1 gig sticks of Crucial Ballistx DDR2 which shows in CPUID as 5-5-5-12 for timings. This RAM is about 2 years old. I have it set to use SPD settings in the BIOS.
I want to replace 2 of the 1 gig sticks with a pair of 2 gigs. Current Crucial Ballistx shows timings as 4-4-4-12 Would I have any issues if I mixed these types of RAM together? I'm not doing anything fancy with the computer. Just internet pictures, videos, music encoding. |
