Every time I start up IE, I am getting a "security alert" message from Equifax. I have removed the certificate from my root certification options, but the alert still keeps popping up [even after I have restarted the computer]. Equifax is now not even showing in my certification list, but I still get the security warning every time.
Any ideas please anyone? |

Try running IE without BHO's.. Equifax has no business to run when you open IE. If you do not know how to remove BHO's this is how its done: Disable all Browser Helper Objects in Internet Explorer. To do so in Internet Explorer, click Options on the Tools menu, click the Advanced tab, click to clear the Enable third-party browser extensions check box, and then click OK.
