are there any canadian criminal lawyers or cops on here right now?
I have a question about "uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm". My question is, is it a crime to threaten to burn down somebody's place of business?

Yep, and if there is a witness who is prepared to swear to it you're in trouble, otherwise just don't admit to anything.
