church would love or judge u? I'm interested to see how many people out there feel as though the church was there to help and the people would be forgiving and loving and how many people feel as though they would be judged and rejected by the people in the church because they did not measure up?

It depends. I've been in churches were some has done something bad and obviously people found out. I did not judge that person BECAUSE only God can judge and because they we're very very repentful. Churches should not judge or ignore someone espically if they are sorry for what they did.

I had a child out of wedlock..... I was a member of a church, a very active member.. youth group, choir, soloist, musician, well known and respected... until then.... those people, who I THOUGHT would be my support group, turned away from me..... really good Christian folks.... all turned their backs on me..... never mind that the child was a product of rape, either.... this was one of the first reasons I had to leave the church.................

members is one thing... ask about pastors and priests who sin big.... are THEY forgiven and loved anyways?.....

My church would mainly help, but some would judge. It's the nature of humans.

Some will love and some will judge. But in all of my years of church-going, the Church has always been more loving than the world.

The fear people have of being rejected is not from God.

Unfortunately, there are certain "sins" that Christians mistakenly believe they must purge from their membership. Out of wedlock pregnancies is a common one. Crimes are another.

In Scripture, there is church discipline. Churches must follow the entire doctrine of discipline or none of it.

Paul said in I Corinthians 2:5-8 how churches should deal with a Christian who sins openly.

In my Church I feel that they wouldn't judge me and still love me. I have some of the greatest people in the world going to my church. They wouldn't judge or reject me and I wouldn't judge or reject them.
