Benefits of changing my state of legal residence?
I have been in the military now for over 20 yrs and in all that time I kept my state of legal residence as NY. I am about to get out in about a year. What impact will it have on my benefits if any; if I change my state of legal residence to SC where I currently have a home (and have had it since 1998) and plan to retire?
