You need a budget and a job if you don't have one already.
At the begining of the month before you get paid, list your fixed expenses first. Shelter, utilities, loans, car Then you need to list your variable expenses. Food Cloths entertainment Money towards savings Ect Now allocate your income appropriately to each catagory until all of your moeny for the month is gone. Now do everything you can to stick with the budget. The next month you may have to adjust a bit but try to stay as close to the budget as possible.

Honestly there are numerous ways.
I've been using this site called daddy more bucks. http://www.daddymorebucks.com This guy is a father to 5 children, makes lower income, and saves like crazy. Really neat stuff on there too.... I never thought of "Saving on my electric bill" or "Saving on gas" as actual ways that you can save. Then he introduces bonuses on credit cards and deal sites.... Real cool stuff. Has saved us about $500 a month just using some of his tactics. Hope it helps you as well.
