Default The Philippines Economy?

How is the economy in the Philippines doing? Obviously it is not growing like China but is there some positive growth? Is the country headed in the right direction?

The United States is shipping jobs to other countries (call centers Philippines), so are things getting better there? Or is it just more of the same?

Many filipinos dont feel that their lives are improving. In fact according to a survey, many filipinos are now hungrier than ever.

but, in a macro perspective seen by investors and international banks and researchers, the philippines is improving its fiscal status. although, the philippines has improved its fiscal ability, it is still a farc cry from its neighboring asean countries.

i think that the philippines is heading in the right direction, in terms of economics - the macro perspective. and one doesnt expect that ordinary, lazy filipinos would get the benefits right there and then because external factors are contributing to the slow growth.. many filipinos do still complain.

but politically and socially, id like to call the philippines situation as totally immature and traditional. needless to say, still it is uncivilized in answering problems.
