Are there Truck Driver Opportunities with 5 weeks+ per year off?I don't need...
...401k,vacation pay,etc..? I have always enjoyed driving and being behind the wheel..With that being said I am considering getting my CDL and becoming a truck driver..I have worked in valet and shuttles in Las Vegas for the past 10 years..I am educated with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and have been involved in the equities market which has contributed an additional income..I would like to work the majority of the year but want flexibility to have time off thoughout the year(aprrox 5 weeks)..I am single with no children and do not mind being away from home for 3-4 days at a time..Most of the reading I have done regarding trucking is for the person who wants to work long hours year round to make a substantial salary in the future($80k+)..My ambition is to make half of that with more time off..If someone has a background in trucking and was in my position what would you do to get started..
