Does AMD processors still have heating issues?
Should i go for Intel Core 2 Duo processor with Nvidia which is costlier. Do i gain significantly by Intel + Nvidia Configuration?
I want it for work and gaming both

If you need a laptop with good battery life, you should look at the ones with Intel CPUs. Their power management beats the pants off any AMD-based laptop, and gives you longer battery life.

If you are going to use it as a desktop replacement (i.e. leave it plugged in all the time and not go anywhere with it), then either will do.
