Default I want to go wireless . I have roadrunner internet, can I use a linksy router or

do i have get one from them? i also have vonage

If you are either using a DSL or Cable Internet connection, you can buy any router which supports Wireless Internet.

Such brands are Linksys, D-Link, Belkin, etc.

You can buy your own router, you plug the router into the cable modem. Roadrunner won't know the difference. Where it gets dicey for me is where vonage fits into the equation. Their "box" might be a router - does your pc connect to the vonage box or to the cable modem? If you connect to the vonage box, then their device is the router, all you need is a wireless access point (a.k.a. an "AP") you would be looking for something linksys calls a "WAP".

You can use any wireless router you want to use...bit I do like linksys the best.

You can use an linksys router, just connect it up to the roadrunner internet box through eithernet (it's simple)
