Default I have a new fridge freezer, how long do I need to let it stand before...
...switching it on? I have my milk and wine in a bowl of iced water and want to turn the fridge on. It has been standing since 12 noon today :0(

I bought one recently, and turned it on about 1 hour later. It was fine and no problems.

You'll be ok as long as it wasn't laid down in the van. We used to recommend 12 hours when I worked at Curry's.
