I'm running a WRT54G with Tomato and WPA encryption. I'm using the best channel I can as well.
I have three computers in my place...and both my Windows 7 laptop and desktop work perfectly well with the network. However, the Macbook is really slow. I'm talking seconds for a simple Google search. I've no idea what to try as the other computers are fine beyond what I've done...I've tried unencrypted, WEP and WPA2 as well. I had the same issue on dd-wrt. I've had the same issue with Time Warner and Grande. So...that tells me it's the Macbook itself? What should I look for? Running a speedtest, and speeds are fine...even latency looks fine. But things are just really slow to start loading but once it does start to load it shows up quickly. Any help is appreciated |
