OK, here is a break down, previously I had been running a shorter cable between my 2 gigabit switches (50feet) now I'm running a 100 foot cable between a switch and a pc, and my pc wont sync to my gigabit switch at anything other then 100 or 10mbps (previously it was @ gigabit)
the cables are all cat 5e or cat 6, is there a limit to how long I Can run this cable? would it help having a switch on both ends(I do have 2 gigabit switches) |
