Hello everybody and thank you in advance.
I have just started working for a small agency with 3 websites, all of which are on the same server. In the office is 4 computers each using the internet using 1 wireless router. The problem is that when we try to access one of our .com sites about 25%of the time it comes up with unable to open. If we contact somebody to try and view the page at the same time they will be able to open the page but we won't. It is only that 1 site, we can view the internet and our other sites without a prolem. If we unplug the router, leave it for a minute then plug it back in we are able to view our site. WHY? I don't know if its a router problem or a server problem. Your help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

I guess since you're using a router, the Internet IP is the same.. You connect on one and it disconnects the other, you can't overwrite it .

You should have to assign different IP to each and every machine. Second option is that you can also create one workgroup and under that workgroup you have to assign IP address.

It means you have no internet or a firewall that needs to be turned off.

Hi ! It can be problem in your Internet connection as your working on 3 websites and using same IP address to develop it so there may be IP conflict problem in that. Try to shut down system and than start next website work.

Maybe the connection of your internet is slow that's why you weren't able to open that particular site.

Theres nothing in my server error logs and there have been no connectivity issues reported for either site. Pingdom is checking connectivity to the sites every 60 seconds 24/7 and shows no problems either.

I think your internet connection is slow so website is taking more time to open.

You need a crossover cable to connect two computers directly (without switch) to each other. And configure both of the computer's with appropriate network configuration (e.g. IP address, subnet, default gateway et cetera).
