I'm using windows xp sp2 and I knew people on my network can see my computer's name with some programs like netcut. I just want to know if there is a tweak in windows or some program that can make my name invisible to others on the network.

If you're in a domain, you can't (as far as I know). If you're not a domain member, you can deselect Microsoft file and print sharing and Client for Microsoft Networks in the network config which effectively turns off NetBIOS. Your computer is never truly invisible, but that goes a long way.
