google and yahoo scripts are very complex and cannot be moved by copy & paste
you can always get some other scripts: the bad: public php scripts are prone to spam/hack attacks because the hacker knows its structure the good: its (sometimes) easier and (always) faster than writing the script yourself the (sometimes) and (always) comments do not apply to every situation im actually working on a similar thing myself...but i ended up learning all about php and writing the code myself using lots and lots of guides and several 500 paged books :S but now i understand everything that is happening in the scrip, which feels very rewarding
