dish network remote programming problem...?
So I got a new tv, and programmed the dish network remote to work with my new tv. Now the remote can turn on/off the tv, and change the volume as well as video input, but I can't actually change the channels or do anything dish network related (use the "guide" feature", change channels, etc.)
I found out that I actually CAN change channels and stuff like that, but in order to do so I have to go to the room where the dish network box/hard drive is set up (which isn't in the same room as my new tv). So my question is, is there anyway that I can change channels on my tv without having to be in the same room as the dish network box?
