Best high level programming language?
I currently am dealing with mostly lower level languages such as C++ and Assembly, but I want to find something for quick production and greater portability. I already know the basics of Python, but I was wondering what language other people like best.
I don't need it to have an IDE, but I really only want to use a language that is completely free, as well as works with linux. I'm kind of aiming for something above Java, especially with memory management. Hi ! If at this scenario we will see than .Net and Java are the Best High level Programming language. Now if you will mark, than any website or software will be developed in this two languages only. But still some persons are using PHP.
