I am very new to this...so please bear with me..
I want to read in data from a file. Each file contains data that looks like the following: Smith Anna 12345 abc Jones Tom 54321 xyz Adams Mike 22334 mno I want to read in the data (which is in a file)...and store to manipulate it (sort based on the number). As in C++, I would read in each person into a node format. How do I do this in Perl?? I am finding the term "array of hashes" maybe? but again, I have no idea. Any example or help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!__________________________ mother of the bride dress mother of the groom dresses flower girl dress Last edited by KennyCawen; 04-10-2011 at 07:24 PM.. |

You can use database handling in order to store information or data such as this one.
