Default Domain Name & Search Engine Marketing?

Which is a better domain name - in terms of higher search engine positioning? I need to know if someone types in dayton used cars that my domain name will be at the top of the search engine and am not sure if smashing the words together or hyphenating them makes a difference.

Ex:

www.daytonusedcars.com
www.dayton-used-cars.com

I suggest you follow Adam R's response.

Good luck!

Default Good domain names are not difficult to decide...

Domain are the best that contain your main keyword for marketing.

Where was his response posted? Was it originally in this thread? I'm curious as to what the answer is myself.

It doesn't seem like a big difference between the two names. They both look like they would work well. But having no dashes would make it easier for people to remember if you are telling them the name verbally.

Why not try to get both? Since they are so similar, you would decrease the chance of competition.

Default Google Adwords

I suggest you to use Google adwords for selecting you desired keyword and then use this keyword into your domain name. It will also help you for increasing your site page rank.

Well I would suggest the name with the dashes. I think it's easier on the eyes because you can identify each word and not have to read it all as one big word. Did you decide on which one to use?

Neither should affect your search engine rankings, so I'd go with the one that doesn't have the dashes. This way it'll be easier for people to type and they won't accidentally not find your page. In terms of seo you are going to want to focus more on your sites content and building backlinks.

Did you decide yet on which of the two names to use?
