I was working on my computer the other night and it told me that i needed to reboot to install the new updates. I did. Someting went wrong. Each time i loged in and told me that i had a corrupt file. I couldn't even get to the desk top page, it was just black. So i reintalled the VISTA upgrade that i got with my computer. I finally got my desk top, but it was running really slowly and kept giving me errors. No applications were there, like Microsoft word, excel, outlook. I kep having error messages popping up. So i got my Gateway Operating system disk, and ran through a complete reintall. It restarted my computer, came up with the Microsoft XP logo. THe screen then goes blank, for about a minute or two, and restarts. This has happend probably 15 times now. Is my computer dead? Please help
