I just purchased a new Gateway notebbok. AMD Turion processor. It is a great computer for my needs...checking email and storing pictures.
I have downloaded Firefox as my browser, I understand that it is safer AND it is what I am used to browsing on, what i a familiar with. The computer is 10 days old and EVERYTIME i go to Yahoo.com/games and play BINGO, the computer freezes on the BIngo homepage. I cannot minimize the page, i cannot click any buttons, i have to go the the task manager and end the program. Every time. The message on te bottom of the page does not read "DONE" like it should, it says "READ..." I cannot find out exactly what it says because it is now minimized and I cannot restore it. What could this be caused by? Should I take it back into Best Buy? Could it be VISTA? Should I uninstall Firefox? And tips?
