Is it finding the Trojan in the same location? or different locations? Its possible that you have been re-infected... or most likely, it's not really deleting the file, but quarantining it, there fore picking it up again upon re-scan.

I'd empty the recycle bin and rescan. If it still picks up on it, do some digging, and see if you can't find the folder your VS is dropping the files to. Then you can delete - and empty recycle bin - and then re run the scan.

Good luck!

the best way to remove a virus is by doing a boot time scan...safe mode helps but is not the best method....a boot time scan will remove viruses that are embedded in a running process that may even run in safe mode....uninstall any anti virus program you have and download the free version of avast home edition and run a boot time scan(it's part of the set up)it updates automatically and will give you decent protection when surfing using the resident protection....watch how many things this finds in the scan...cheers

You need to run it in Safe Mode (tap F8 as the computer boots up and choose to boot to safe mode). Kaspersky and NOD32 anti-virus programs are the best (if you need a better one).

Ideally you should run a virus removal program in Safe Mode (without networking) and reboot and repeat the scan and reboot until there is a cycle where no virus is detected.

The idea behind the Safe Mode is that the operating system would only load your essential programs and drivers to the memory and hence there is a “high” chance that the virus-infected file is on the drive but not loaded into memory. This would enable the AV to clean it easily and the next reboot/scan would detect nothing. There could still be a small possibility that one of the drivers or programs that are loaded by the OS in the Safe Mode is infected. That’s why you need to keep rebooting and rescanning to make sure you’ve found them all.

If your antivirus can't delete a file with virus it only meant two things. Your antivirus is not effective or its updated regularly.

Is Antivirus update regularly?
Because sometimes if antivirus not update, It will lose with the virus.
Or you can try reinstall and change with another antivirus.
Hope it works.

According to me, AVG Antivirus is the best because it detects mostly all the Virus if update it regularly.AVG AntiVirus is really a nice Antivirus i using it from last 2 years, no problem of virus and it don't crate any problem with my PC run speed.... so regularly update your Antivirus whatever Antivirus you are using... Use AVG your problem get solved...
