I would like to keep my friends list on my profile but I don't want people to be able to click on 'view my friends list' and see all the friends I have. It is alright if they can see my top friends.

You can use this to hide the link, but as mentioned above, it is impossible to ensure that people on your friends list do not see the friends.

The only to conceal your friends is to set your profile to private, and delete the people you don't want seeing it OFF of your friends list.

You can't do that.
Anyway, even if you hid it all, people can still see your friend list.
They just get your friend ID, and put it in place of their own on their friends list

Like !mhmm said, you can hide it, but computer literate people can find it no matter what. The average Joe wouldn't know how to though. Use <div> commands to cover up the link or make a completely custom page.

that one is easy... go to www.pyzam.com and there will be different tabs. click on myspace stuff. click on myspace tweaks. then there will be a few different things on there look for the one that says: Hide your friends section. copy it and paste it in to your 'about me' section in your profile.
