Default firewall help!?

i cant enter optichat..
heres what it says
difficulty logging in. check you computer firewall.
wat do i do?

go to c/panel and click on firewall and lower it or turn it off

Go to Start>control panel. From there, go to security center. Once you enter the security center, on the bottom, it should say FIREWALL OPTIONS. Click on that. After you enter that, switch to the second tab labeled EXCEPTIONS. Add the program you are having trouble with by finding and adding the .EXE file. If that still does not work, go to this websit eand follow the directions.

is it the original firewall if it is go to control panel network and internet connections then click windows firewall and turn it off if it is a installed firewall then click the icon if the bottom left corner and go to firewall setting
