OK, hand over the 10 points now.
Kim Komando's website (Komando.com) has an "excellent" link to a "FREE" software program called "Spybot Search and Destroy". It really, really works and there's no gimmicks and it's very easy to down load and even easier to run. It takes about 15 minutes for it to tun through your system. It really gets rid of all the stuff that latches on to your computer from other sites you've visited. It's the only one I've used for the last five years. I swear upon all which I honour that it's all true.

Avast is the best. I have it. it completely blocks out the spyware junk and pop ups that could install any dangerous materials on your PC. It warns you when a website has a malicous resource. I have it and its completely free, and safe. You can also download crapcleaner. It erases all the extra files on your comp from past viruses and messy downloads. Good luck
