Default college requirements, SATs, ACTs, SAT IIs, etc.?

my mom says that--regarding UC requirements, if I take the SAT and the ACT then I don't have to take two SAT IIs (i.e. SAT Subject Test).
but I'm pretty sure she's wrong. I think the requirements are that I take either the SAT or the ACT, and then take two SAT Subject Tests.
Which one of us is right--or are both of us wrong?
Please provide a credible site (i.e. a UC site listing the UC requirements) along with your answer so that I can show her that I'm right--or vice versa.
Muchos Gracias. ;D
