Default IIS question?

hi..is being directly connected to the internet with a public ip address is better when installing IIS to make the web site publically reacable with no trouble...or can you do it on a local network if the machine is behind a router.thank you.

IIS is best to create a active directory. It provides uses a number of standardized protocols to provide a variety of network services
