Default apache httpd.conf?

hello all
I programmed a firewall and i want to run this firewall as a part of apache which will be filtering port 80
it has also rules for matching with the URL
so how to link this firewall with apache
i heared about something called conf.d and put the rules in a file with .conf extension
and i also have to include the .conf file from httpd.conf any idea how to do this?
Note : the firewall is in perl and the apache is working on windows machince
