I've seen NAS devices that run samba, ftp and can be accessed via the web. But, is it possible to turn one of these things into a small web server? I've got an old Linux PC that I've turned into a web server but I don't leave it on all of the time due to power concerns. I've seen some NAS items with auto-power off and on when they're being accessed, which would be great.
Basically I'm looking for a less power intense way of running a web server without buying a fairly expensive web server machine. There will only be a few people, maybe 10 max, that ever use it.
