server.xml or context.xml ? Is it possible to develop web application on tomcat without using server.xml or context.xml ?
I am trying to develop a web application but I dont want to use tomcat's context.xml or server.xml for defining the datasources, instead I directly want to use jdbc and hardcode the datasources in application code itself (though its a bad coding practice)? Can someone plz specify what implications it can have and is it possible ? I tried with running my application without context.xml and its working fine but I just want to know what if many users try to access application at a same time ?
