Default I can't view my hidden folder on Windows XP.?

Okay, I am using a school computer and they lock them down tighter than Fort Knox. They disabled Control Panel and the only thing I see in the Tools menu when I open a folder in My Computer is synchronize, there is no folder options or anything else besides synchronize. Is there another way to view this folder?
