Default I am having trouble installing OS?

I have just built a new PC (my 1st build) and I am having trouble installing the OS.

The bios appears to have detected my 2 SATA hard drives and my 2 CD drives and I have set it to boot from the CD drive.

When I start the machine up it does a little tally, listing the FSB clock speed the RAM clock speed and the SATA drives, (everything looks correct) it then says
"No disk detected" and trys to boot from CD drive, the screen starts loading up windows files then ever tells me windows failed to start because a file is corrupt, and reccomends I restart in safe mode(Almost like it thinks OS is already installed) or I get a BSOD.

I was just wondering if anyone has had problems similar to this or can point me in the right direction?

Thanks.
If you need more info to help me, just say so and I will tell you everything I can.

IF the bios is saying NO Disk Detected, then I suspect there is something set incorrectly in the bios.

Make sure the CD is set to boot first, then boot off of the Windows Disk and do a fresh installed. Reformat the hard dirve when asked.
