Playstation 3 Other Operating Systems?
1.What is that linux yellow something that is on the PS3?
2. Where can i get a safe file of it. (like from sony) 3.Will it break my console 4. How do i go back to the orignal OS??? thanks, 10pts by tommorow

1. Yellow Dog is was made for the PS3. It is the only distro (distribution) of linux/unix that was specifically made for the PS3.
2.For yellow dog look at my sources I have the link to their website. You can also use Ubuntu which is my favorite due to the fact it is really user friendly and is not too far from windows. 3. No it will not break your system. The PS3 was actually made to be able to support linux OS. 4. You can get an external HDD and backup all your data .. then you have to go to setting and re-partition your HDD on the PS3 to make it where you can put on a Linux Distro. This will erase entire HDD of your PS3 so back up the info before hand. Good Luck also I am gonna give you a link to everything about PS3 and Linux.
