Default conection at the fishing museum

Tell me about it!

We were running "Locustworld MeshAP", and acorduing to they're mailing list it was your fault. The users (all 7000 of you) having spyware and virusses that was crashing it all the time.

In a fit of pique I went "*od this, I can't do any worse than it already is" and flashed the three seafront nodes with PierToPier.net "Muddy" my modified version of pebble linux. Nammed for its oringin in the Glastnbury festival last year. It only took a few hours!. My inbox is full of meshap users who want it/to know how it works. (http://wiki.piertopier.net/index.php/Muddy). Its compatible with OpenWRT firmware for linksys WRTG routers, whci can be used as repeaters. (hopefully, we'll find out to day as I put one up in the Paddle Round The Pier Marquee.

The Certificate is so you can submit usernames and passwords to the splash server, you wounldn't want them unecrypted would you? If you want to donate us a signed certificate, so browsers accept it we won't mind, we've just got better stuff to spend the money on. You can always "install" it and it won't bother you again.

Chris is beavering away link mad to re-enginner the website, and we'll be moving it to our nice new (donated) server were we acan all get at it and update it. One of the Jobs is to Write a new Faq for the sign up system. If you sign in properly you don't get logged off after 2 hours and you don't get limited to 128k, not that that's going to make much differnence on the beach given the sheer volume of trafic thats going through now its working properly.
