So, I signed up for Netflix a few days back, and I've been using the watch instantly feature to re-watch some classics. Unfortunately, I've been suffering from some major image tearing that I have not yet been able to reconcile.
I have already tried to force vertical sync with the Nvidia control panel, but there seems to have been no effect on Silverlight's playback. I also tried to force a higher refresh rate on my monitor (Dell 2209WA), but it doesn't seem to take for some reason. The display doesn't spaz out, it just doesn't change. I don't have any tearing in video games, or on movies played in Media Player Classic, so this definitely seems to be solely a Microsoft Silverlight problem. Although, I do have a little bit of tearing in flash up at the top of the screen, but it is negligible. In any case, if any of you have any ideas on how to make Silverlight cooperate, that would be wonderful. Also, for reference here is my system set up: Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 (OCed to 3.0 Ghz) Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Motherboard 4gb of G.Skill DDR2 800 ECS 8800GTS (G92) 512mb Thanks again! |
