QUES1 : I have a number of related questions here, so I'll try to make this as succinct and clear as I can. We are trying to determine which is the best I/O metrics to utilize. There are no less than 9 similar metrics, and we are trying to determine their relationship to each other.
1.SQL Server Physical I/O Operations 2. Pages Read 3.Pages Written 4. Physical IO

i think SQL Server Physical is widely used. others r also good. its ur choice..where u fell better,,,,
