If you found a house that you liked, would you make a bid on the same day that you saw it? We had an open house over the weekend, but haven't gotten any offers yet. My husband is freaking out (the house has only been on the market for 2 weeks) and I tried to explain that not everyone is as impulsive as he is. Maybe someone liked our house, but wanted to see one or two more to make sure. Or maybe they need to wrap up some financial issues before making a bid. I want to reassure him that just because we didn't get an offer on the day of the open house, that doesn't mean that no one was interested. Especially since it's a buyer's market, they might not feel the need to rush into a bid ( to avoid competing with other buyers). We had a showing 5 days after the house was on the market and had an offer ( too low). So there is def interest out there. So basically, the question is would you necessarily make a bid the same day that you saw a house?
