No.. they have enough D-ends... why would they want another one.. and don't they play a 3-4? Taylor would be horrible in that system.. he's so lanky and lacks power. He is a speed rusher.. not a Strahan.

Jason Taylor would be a good upgrade for the Cowboys. Everyone keeps talking about how great of a fit he is for the 3-4 but they keep forgetting that he played the 4-3 very effectively before that. If Dallas wants a Super Bowl reunite him with his brother in law Zach Thomas and look out NFL!

I wouldn't do it if I were them, that is a lot to give up for an aging (33 yrs old) lineman. Not to mention that their defense was one of the best last year as well. And PacMan might be more of a distraction than help.

I'm only saying this because I'm a Giants fan, but come on he's 34 years old, and he is now focusing his career on acting and dancing. He'll soon retire, but the Cowboys aren't that dumb to trade their first round pick to the Dolphins even though they have two. Sure they don't have a great defensive line other than Canty but Taylor is too old and a first round is younger and probably better than Taylor.

The cowboys need to get younger. they dont need to give up a first round pick for an aging jason taylor. get a good defensive lineman that you can teach the system. noone needs a bitter pass rusher that would prefer to be working in hollywood or espn rather than putting his hand on the ground on sundays.
