I am interested in majoring in mass communications. Would it be best to have an emphasis or just a general emphasis and take courses in various areas? I would love to work for a television studio or a non-profit. If I worked at a tv studio, I would love to be a desk editor (I have a friend doing that) but at a non-profit, I would love to write grants, design pamphlets, campaigns, etc.
Any ideas?
